Campbell River has a new festival debuting this month.
The CR Jazz and Blues Festival will run Wednesday, July 24th, through Saturday, July 27th.
The festival will feature 16 performances by 14 different artists at six locations around town co-presented by the City’s CR Live Streets and Highway 19 Concert Society.
The festival begins with CR Live Streets Blues Night on the 24th, featuring 23-year-old blues rock phenom Garett T. Willie, originally from Kingcome Inlet and Alert Bay.
Performances by artists from across the country will continue at other locations over the four days, including SoCal Restaurant, Match Eatery & Public House, the Anchor Inn, the Eagles Lounge, and Beach Fire Brewing.
All performances are free to attend, although food and beverage minimums apply at pubs and restaurants.
