The Campbell River Grandmothers to Grandmothers annual Stride to Turn the Tide kicked off this week.
Janet Cafferata, with Grandmothers to Grandmothers in Campbell River, says money raised will go to their Grandmothers in Africa who are raising orphans to the HIV & AIDS pandemic, supporting grief counseling, education, costs of living expenses & other areas. Cafferata says you can take part by logging your hours, doing just about anything physical, such as walking, running, gardening, lawn mowing, shopping, exercising etc. Register online with a minimum $20 donation at https://www.theraven.fm/calendar/event/campbell-river-g2g-annual-stride-to-turn-the-tide/ as the Stride is on through the Easter long weekend.
