There was a fire over the weekend at a home on Cedar Street in Campbell River.
Around 6:15 a.m. Saturday morning, the Campbell River Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Cedar St. Approximately 24 City firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze.
There was no one home at the time and crews kept the fire contained to the original structure while protecting adjacent homes.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being actively investigated.
