The City of Campbell River’s Fall 2026 Recreation Guide is now available, with programs, activities and special events planned from September through December.
The guide includes offerings at the Community Centre, Sportsplex and other locations throughout the city.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. Monday, August 17.
Residents can register online, through the City’s Recreation in Campbell River app, in person at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, or by phone.
This season’s lineup includes a wide range of programs for all ages.
Active Living programs feature social activities and games such as Mexican Train, bridge, crib, Scrabble, mah jong, quilting, carpet bowling, floor curling and table tennis.
There are also fitness classes and drop-in sports, along with programs for children and youth.
Those include basketball, squash, baking, cooking, crafts and other sports and recreation activities. After-school programming is also available, with a variety of activities for young people.
The fall schedule also includes several seasonal favourites, including Breakfast with Santa, National Child Day celebrations and the Toy and Craft Show, described as one of the largest of its kind on Vancouver Island.
