Campbell River is extending its partnership with the Province for the Rebate Top-Up for Heat Pumps, offering a $350 top-up to the CleanBC Better Homes rebate for electric air source heat pumps until March 31st, 2025.

The program will allow more homeowners to benefit from municipal rebate top-ups when they switch from a fossil fuel (oil, natural gas, or propane) heating system to an electric air source heat pump.

The City’s top-up program has been in place since July 2022, providing $15,000 in funding towards this year’s program from the Climate Action Reserve Fund. Rebates will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Campbell River heat pump top-up program is managed by the Province of BC and administered by BC Hydro.
