Campbell River voters have another opportunity to hear directly from City Council candidates tonight as the community’s election debate series continues at the Tidemark Theatre.

The second councillor debate will feature Shawn Decaire, Ben Lanyon, Candice Lowery and Laird Ruehlen.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the debate running from 7 until 9 p.m.

The third and final council debate takes place tomorrow night, when Brittany Colville, Don Kolonsky, Lucas Schuller and Ferris Stirling take the stage.

Tomorrow’s event will begin a little later because of a Campbell River City Council meeting. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the debate runs from 7:30 until 9:30.

Admission is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Both debates will also be livestreamed through the Tidemark Theatre website.

Recordings will be posted the following day on the Campbell River and District Chamber of Commerce YouTube channel.

Anyone who missed Monday night’s debate between mayoral candidates Kermit Dahl and Andy Speck can already watch that recording on the Chamber’s YouTube channel.

General voting day is Saturday, October 17.
