Campbell River City Council will begin budget deliberations today.
The upcoming budget includes a tax increase of 3.45 percent, or an extra $6 a month for the average homeowner.
Mayor Kermit Dahl says the budget keeps affordability top of mind and taxes low.

Partial Road Closure on Hilchey Road for Work on Bike Lanes
There will be periodic partial road closures on Hilchey Road, between Dogwood Street and Island Highway South starting today, through Thursday.
