The Campbell River & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has a new Membership Specialist.

The Chamber says Lindsey Innes has extensive experience supporting local businesses through events, sponsorships, membership engagement, and community initiatives.

Her career includes eight years in the Chamber network, where she supported hundreds of businesses and strengthened community connections in both Campbell River and Nanaimo.

“I’m thrilled to return to the Campbell River & District Chamber and reconnect with the incredible business community here.”, said Innes.

“Campbell River is such a vibrant, collaborative community, and I’m looking forward to helping strengthen relationships, expand membership, and create meaningful value for businesses throughout the region.”

Innes is also well known for her work at Innes Arena, where she coordinates events and leads fundraising efforts.

With deep roots in Campbell River and a genuine passion for helping businesses thrive, the Chamber says Innes brings strong outreach expertise, proven membership growth, and a community-first approach to her new role.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors is thanking their outgoing executive director. Mary Ruth Snyder had held the role for more than six years, joining just prior to the pandemic, leading a district wide initiative for ‘Shop Local Support Local’ that resulted in tremendous and ongoing support for the area's small businesses.

The Chamber’s next Social B2B Mixer is taking place on Thursday, December 11, at the Coast Discovery Inn from 5:00 to 6:30pm.

The mixer is free to attend, but you’re asked to RSVP by email chair@campbellriverchamber.ca
