To celebrate our 90 years the Campbell River & District Chamber of Commerce is combining their 1st Annual Golf Extravaganza with an ONLINE Silent Auction. Each year they will share proceeds from the golf event and the online silent auction with a different cause in the community.
This year they’re sharing the proceeds from the tournament and Silent Auction with the Children's Health Foundation Vancouver Island in support of Q̓ʷalayu House — a home away from home, a safe and comfortable place for families and children to stay while travelling to access health care in Campbell River.
The Campbell River & District Chamber is celebrating 90 years — serving as the intersection point between businesses, all four levels of government, education institutions, community organizations, the greater community, and Indigenous Nations — providing opportunities for engagement, learning and the raising of our collective vibrancy.
Campbell River & District Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director Mary Ruth Snyder, says they will reveal the full amount raised from the tournament and the Silent Auction in the coming weeks.
Bidding continues until June 12 at 11:59 p.m.
