There is a big fundraiser on Saturday night to help local families facing a health crisis.

100.7 The Raven and Cameryn’s Cause for Kids Society present ‘Boots & Bling’, a country western ball fundraiser at Quinsam Hall in Campbell River.

The event will feature a live & silent auction, a ‘Chuckwagon’ themed dinner catered by More Eatery, a dance with live music by Boondock and more.

Some of the auction prizes already donated include a trip for 2 to Vegas donated by Fitness Etc, a fishing trip donated by Denali Charters & Airfare for 2 anywhere the airline flies courtesy of Westjet.

The Raven’s Jon Varus will be the host of the evening.

The event’s completely sold out, but there are still sponsorship opportunities for businesses.

All proceeds will benefit local families who have a child facing a health crisis.

To date Cameryn’s Cause has been able to help more than 350 families.
