The Cat Advocates Teaching & Saving Society recently shared some good news.
Thanks to community donations, the volunteer society, caring for feral & abandoned cats in the Comox Valley, is now able to complete some much anticipated renovations to their shelter and Thrift Corner.
The goal of C.A.T.S. is to make the shelter more enjoyable and welcoming to not just the cats but also volunteers and supporters.
To get things fixed up, the shelter will be closed to the public, including the thrift corner, for about a month beginning tomorrow.
Bottle drop-off and donations for the thrift corner continue to be welcomed during the closure.
You can leave them on the right side of the building on the shelving units, Thursdays, Fridays & Sunday as they will be checked regularly.
