Campbell River firefighters were busy for a stretch this week.
On Tuesday night they were called out to the freshwater marina after reports of a fire on a boat.
The 30-meter vessel was in drydock - and an unattended space heater gets the blame.
Firefighters managed to get things taken care of before the fire was able to spread.
Then, yesterday morning, crews made quick work of a blaze at the 7-11 on Dogwood.
A fire started in the kitchen and smoke was seen billowing from the store - crews knocked things down pretty quickly. There were no injuries in either incident.
