Courtenay’s new playground at Brookfield Park is now open.
Calling it a vibrant space, designed with the community in mind, in a post on social media, the City says the playground offers diverse play experiences for children of various ages and diverse abilities.
Features include inclusive modern play structures, swings and slides.
The project was funded through the Province of BC’s Growing Communities Fund, and the City says it aligns with its commitment to enhancing parks based on the recently adopted Park Playground Design Standards.
