The Big Rock Boat ramp and parking lot in Campbell River will be closed next week to relocate gravel sediment that has settled over the last four years.

The Big Rock Boat ramp and parking lot in Campbell River will be closed next week to relocate gravel sediment that has settled over the last four years.

The closure will be in effect from Monday, October 3rd, to Wednesday, October 5th.

The small parking lot immediately north of the boat ramp will also be closed on October 1st and 2nd so the contractor can prepare the site.

The contractor will also be working on the south side beach area but will not interfere with the south part of the parking lot.

Signs have been placed at the Big Rock Boat Ramp parking lot to notify the public of the closure and information will be posted on social media.
