The Campbell River Hospital Foundation’s ‘Because You Care’ Lottery was once again hugely successful, raising $116,000 dollars during their biggest fundraiser of the year!
The Campbell River Hospital Foundation’s ‘Because You Care’ Lottery was once again hugely successful, raising $116,000 dollars during their biggest fundraiser of the year!
Three of the four winners were from Vancouver Island, with the grand prize of $20, 000 won by M. Dueck of Black Creek, the Westjet Gift of Flight package went to C.Maczulat of Port Alberni, while the Tofino Beach Vacation at Crystal Cove resort went to K. Mcintyre of North Vancouver.
The 50/50 got up to $38,660, so the winner, J. Woodward of Campbell River won $19, 330 and donated $2000 back to the Foundation.
Proceeds from the lottery will go towards helping to fundraise for the building of the ‘Just Like Home’ Lodge, a safe haven for patients & loved ones, that's being built steps away from Campbell River Hospital.
The Foundation offers it's heartfelt thanks to everyone that took part, and congratulations to all of the winners.
