This fire was reported Sunday night, burning in heavy fuel and steep terrain.
At its height, the wildfire was estimated to be about four hectares in size.
Crews managed to get control of things - as of Monday, the fire was considered to be held.
BC Wildfire Service crews responded with help from Port Alberni, Cherry Creek, and Sproat Lake Fire Departments.
The crew included 13 personnel, two water tenders, an excavator, and a helicopter. There were no injuries and no infrastructure or property damage reported.
