If you’re planning on a little fishing this weekend, be aware of the water discharge down the Campbell River from the John Hart Dam.
Flows will more than double by tomorrow to help the salmon.
BC Hydro says they’ll hold there and hopefully increase flows further, weather dependent, into the fall for Chinook.
There is more rain in the forecast - Environment Canada has precipitation listed for Campbell River and the Valley this weekend and into most of next week.

Partial Road Closure on Hilchey Road for Work on Bike Lanes
There will be periodic partial road closures on Hilchey Road, between Dogwood Street and Island Highway South starting today, through Thursday.
