BC Hydro is issuing a public safety notice for Sunday, through next Saturday, July 27th about increased flows down Elk Falls Canyon.

They will be redirecting water flows from the John Hart powerhouse for planned maintenance work.

Temporary safety signage advising the public to stay away from the water flow will be placed around the Elk Falls Canyon area.

During this time, please stay away from the water flow, particularly just upstream of Elk Falls.

People will be able to view the falls from the safety of the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge.

Road Closure For Glen Eagle Drive Water Repair

There will be a full road closure on Glen Eagle Drive, Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while Campbell River crews complete a water service repair.
