BC Hydro is issuing a public safety advisory to stay away from Elk Falls Canyon every Tuesday to Thursday until November 14th.
The increased flows down the Elk Falls Canyon is to support salmon migration and spawning, with another increase happening yesterday.
Recreational anglers along the river should take the river flow increase into account when deciding how and where to access the river.
