The Premier is calling for more peaceful protest after the constituency office of Selina Robinson was vandalized.

“Selina Robinson’s office was vandalized last night, which included hateful messages,” Eby said in a message posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This is wrong. Peaceful protest cannot include spreading hate.”

Robinson stepped down as minister of post-secondary education Monday after comments last week, when she said modern Israel was founded on "a crappy piece of land."

Robinson and Eby have confirmed that she will remain in the NDP caucus.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
