The City of Campbell River is nearing completion of the draft Quinsam Heights Neighbourhood Plan and is inviting residents to attend an open house to review the plan and provide input.
It’s taking place Wednesday, June 26th, from 5pm to 7pm at the Rotary Fieldhouse on Merecroft Road.
The QHNP is a 20-year roadmap that will guide decision-making on land use planning and development in Quinsam Heights.
It consists of priority policies and actions for five categories: housing; civic/institutional; environment, parks and open space; infrastructure and servicing; and transportation and mobility.
The draft was prepared with input from various community partners, First Nations, residents, Council and City staff.
Everyone is invited to attend the upcoming open house to provide feedback.
The City will review all feedback received during the open house and through the City’s engagement platform before finalizing the draft and presenting it to Council for consideration.
