March marks the start of award season for students at North Island College.
The North Island College Foundation is now accepting applications for hundreds of financial awards designed to help students during their post-secondary studies.
The application window runs through the end of April.
Current students, future students and those who are graduating are all eligible to apply.
The foundation uses a single application form, which allows students to be considered for any of the more than 500 awards handed out each year.
The awards are funded through contributions from individuals, families and organizations who want to see students succeed.
Last year, the NIC Foundation distributed $1 million through its awards program. This year, the foundation expects to surpass that amount.
Students can find the application form online at North Island College Foundation.
The website also includes details about award criteria, eligibility, timelines, how to prepare an application and what to expect during the notification process.
