It should be a beautiful night for A Night Out Downtown, back for its third year, in Campbell River.

Eight businesses along Shoppers Row and 11th Avenue are hosting entertainment and special offers starting at 4 p.m. and continuing until late.

Mayor Kermit Dahl says the event adds life to Shoppers Row on a typically quiet and cold night of the year.

You can pick up a passport at your first stop, collecting stamps along the way to win prizes and gift certificates from local merchants.
