Courtenay Elementary School is hosting a forum for parents Wednesday night on digital wellness.
"A Conversation for Families About Digital Wellness and Mental Health" is taking place at the school - an event from Family Smart BC.
As parents It’s not easy to know how much time on technology is too much and how to set boundaries that don’t create conflict.
The community is invited for a conversation with a digital wellbeing expert to learn some practical solutions to our everyday concerns and challenges around our kids’ use of screens and their mental health.
Hosted by Carolyn McCarthy of FamilySmart, the free watch party will include a pizza dinner and child minding as attendees will watch a video on setting digital boundaries for your child, followed by a discussion.
It’s from 5-7 pm and free to attend.
