The Raven’s fourth annual ‘Par-Tay on the Fairway’ at Saratoga Beach Golf Club was a complete sellout on Friday, and this amazing community helped us raise more than $10,000 for MARS Wildlife Rescue.
Our presenting sponsor, GFL Environmental, also contributed an incredible $10,000 cheque, bringing the final total to nearly $21,000.
GFL Environmental presented this year’s event and making such a game-changing donation.
We are also incredibly grateful to our Platinum Sponsors, Comox Valley Airport and Foxy Box Laser & Wax Bar - Courtenay & Campbell River, for going above and beyond to support the tournament.
Thank you to Fountain Tire and Kelly and Carlos O'Bryan's in Courtenay for running the barbecue, as well as Quality Foods Courtenay for donating all the food and drinks for our golfers and volunteers.
Mid Island Co-op for welcoming golfers providing swag bags.
Thank you as well to our fantastic hole and event sponsors for helping make the day so memorable:
- Black Creek Veterinary Hospital
- Happy's Source for Sports
- Grandpaw's Treats
- Match Eatery & Public House - Campbell River
- HUB International Insurance Brokers - Vancouver Island
- Chroma Blinds & Flooring
- Elvira Wellness
- Skynet Wireless - Fido

The Raven staff are also giving a big thank you to every golfer and volunteer who showed up, pitched in and gave so generously.
You turned a great day of golf into nearly $21,000 of meaningful support for the animals at MARS Wildlife Rescue.
