The Repair Café is back for its 3rd year at Cumberland Community School.
The Cumberland Community Schools Society is hosting the event tomorrow from 11am to 3pm.
The event provides an alternative for household items destined for the landfill to be repaired and reused for free.
Program Coordinator Kate Ashton says they more than doubled the number of items fixed at the Café last year, demonstrating the continued need to host these events in the Valley.
They’re currently looking for volunteers who have expertise in fixing items such as jewelry, leather, wool, small appliances, toys, or electronics.
