The First Open Heart Society of BC presents the 35th Annual Walk for Hearts May 1st in Campbell River.
It’s a fun family affair with refreshments & prizes where participants either provide donations or gather pledges from others to raise funds that’ll benefit cardiac patients on the whole North Island.
Registration’s 12:30pm, the walk starts at 1pm from Willow Point Hall & goes north along the Sea Walk, then returns to the Hall by 2pm.
Tax receipts will be provided, for pledge sheets, to register & for more information, call Lois Jarvis at 250-287-30-96.
The First Open Heart Society of BC is a registered charitable non-profit organization run by independent volunteers, who assist cardiac patients with things like travel, accommodation, meals, equipment & more throughout the North Island, including at Campbell River Hospital.
