There were a pair of earthquakes off the coast of British Columbia over the weekend.
Thankfully, both were minor.
Earthquakes Canada says the first registered as a 3.8-magnitude quake and struck late Saturday night on Graham Island in Haida Gwaii.
Approximately 8:36 a.m. on Sunday, Earthquakes Canada tweeted about an “automatic detection of seismic event.”
It was recorded as a 4.2 magnitude incident in the Port Hardy region, however no other details have been released.
At 8:31 a.m. on Sunday, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded about 241 kilometres southwest of Port Alice, off the west coast of Vancouver Island.
The earthquake happened at a depth of 10 kilometres.
There were no reports of damage or injury.
