It’s your opportunity to honor loved ones lost while raising funds to support Hospice Care in our community.

Participants raise pledges, then walk 5km from Rotary Beach Park to Frank James Park & back.

After the walk there will be an eco-friendly balloon release & a special memorial ceremony, guest speakers & more.

There’ll be a $250 Gift Card prize draw for top individual fundraisers & a Team Pizza Party prize draw for top Team fundraisers.

The walk will be held from 10am-12:30pm and is a significant fundraiser for the Campbell River Hospice Society .

Society Volunteer & Events Co-Ordinator, Hannah DeVries, says proceeds from this event through pledges will benefit the Campell River Hospice Society directly to provide grief support, hospice care & end of life care to Campbell River & the surrounding areas.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
