Saturday, April 25th, the Campbell River Fire Department is hosting a Wildfire Community Preparedness Day.

It’s an opportunity for community members to learn about ways to reduce the threat of wildfire & about Campbell River’s FireSmart program. There’ll be a BBQ, a chance to learn more about emergency preparedness, how you can make your home and community safer from wildfire & more. It’s from 11am-3pm at the #1 Fire Station at 675 13th Avenue. It’s free to attend & everyone’s welcome.
