Saturday, March 21st, try your luck at the green & giddy St. Patrick’s Contra dance at the Big Yellow Merville Hall.

Fancy Fiddler Paddy O’Furniture & the Funtime Fiddlers will pump out the jigs & reels for all the elves & leprechauns. Just before the dance there’ll be a brief Contra dance workshop at 7pm. Then, at 7:30, the Fiddle band will leap onto the stage & strike up the jigs. In between the called Contra dances, they’ll play waltzes, polkas & swing tunes. So wear a green costume, win a spot dance prize & click your heels, as the luck of the Irish will be with you at this kitchen party! Green music, green beer, green gills & green pickled eggs! It’s $10 to attend, $5 for youth, those 6 & under go free or come as a family for $22.
