Comox Events & Services

• Comox Parade & Cenotaph Service: Hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Comox Branch #160. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Comox cenotaph and a military flypast.
• Road Closures: Comox Avenue (from Nordin Street to Ellis Street) closes from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..
• Afternoon Concert: An afternoon Remembrance concert takes place at Comox United Church at 2:30 p.m..
• Facility Closures: Town of Comox municipal hall, the Comox Community Centre, and the Municipal Works Yard close for the day.

Courtenay Events & Services

• Courtenay Ceremony: Held in downtown Courtenay at Jubilee Square or the Dingwall Cenotaph starting around 10:45 a.m..
• Courtenay Legion (Branch #17): Located at 367 Cliffe Ave. (Courtenay Legion), supporting active Poppy Fund campaigns and local veteran programs.
• Facility Closures: City of Courtenay offices, City Hall, operational services, and local cultural spaces like the Courtenay and District Museum close in observance of the holiday.
