Tuesday, October 29th, the Rotary Club of Campbell River presents their Pumpkins for Polio Beer & Burger fundraiser, at the Riptide Marine Pub in Campbell River.
World Polio Day is October 24th, when global health experts & partners share progress on the road to polio eradication from the great work of Rotary Clubs around the world. Enjoy a burger with a beer or wine, your choice of salad or fries & bid on pumpkins, expertly carved by members of the Campbell River Arts Council, Crow’s Nest, individual artists & talented First Nations carvers. It starts at 5:30pm, tickets are $40 from the Riptide or Coho Books, with proceeds benefitting the eradication program of Rotary & its partners.
