Saturday June 21st it’s National Indigenous Peoples Day and K’ómoks First Nation are inviting the community to celebrate with them.

Celebrate the unique contributions & cultures of First Nation, Inuit & Métis communities in the Comox Valley & across Canada with a free, day-long event at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds. Enjoy cultural & environmental workshops, guided walks to the Tsolum River, K’ómoks culture & archeology displays, live screen printing, Youth & Elder Zones, delicious food including a traditional salmon BBQ, over 30 indigenous craft vendors, live music from world class Indigenous artists & more. It's from 12- 9pm, it’s free to attend & everyone’s welcome.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
