Sunday, June 21st, the Rotary Club of Campbell River hosts the 59th annual Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast at the Campbell River Community Center.

The community’s invited to bring dads, granddads & great granddads for a pancake breakfast & to celebrate a tradition that goes back to 1968. There’ll pancakes & other breakfast favourites, coffee, tea, juice, face painting, live entertainment & more. It’s from 8-11am, admission’s by donation with proceeds supporting local community initiatives.

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.
It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
