Courtenay’s very own Puntledge River elasmosaur, British Columbia’s official fossil, is celebrating its 80,000,037th birthday this November!
Join Courtenay And District Museum And Palaeontology Centre staff at the Courtenay and District Museum on Saturday, November 15 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a special birthday party. Come celebrate discovery, and join the crew for fun, cake, door prizes and more. They will be singing the Happy Birthday song and doing cake cutting at 11:30, make sure you don’t miss it! Admission's by donation and everyone is welcome.
