The initiative aims to inspire environmental stewardship and community engagement while fostering a sense of pride & responsibility for our local environment. Volunteers will meet at 1 of 2 parks at 10am, rain or shine, for a safety orientation, at Harmston Park & Courtenay Air Park, next to the Rotary Sky Park Playground. City staff will distribute trash pickers, grabbers, bags & gloves. Volunteers are then invited to pick up trash in the area around the park including nearby trails. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the event & volunteers are encouraged to pre-register at Spring Clean-Up.
