Saturday, September 19th, the Town of Comox & VI Paddling present the 2026 Comox Dragon Boat Festival in & around Comox Marina Park.

Paddlers from across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands & the Lower Mainland will go head-to-head in fast-paced events. Teams will represent a wide range of experience levels & ages & the Island has become a real hot spot for dragon boaters. The event will also feature youth teams, as well as senior teams, which include paddlers in their 70s. Racing starts about 9am & continues until 4:30pm. Spectators can enjoy exciting racing, local food vendors & one of the best waterfront views on Vancouver Island. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
