Join us for a two-day beading workshop led by Métis artist Carly Nabess!
Participants will learn to create a mini beaded floral pin using embroidery-style flat-stitch beadwork. This hands-on workshop will encourage participants to explore their own identities and worldviews through design. Throughout the workshop, Carly will share her extensive knowledge of beading and speak about its cultural significance to the Métis community. Participants will also gain insight into Carly's artistic practice and her approach to storytelling through beadwork, design, and community connection.
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT WILL INCLUDE BOTH DAYS!
All supplies will be included / Food and Drinks will be available by donation.
The workshop runs from 10am-1pm.
