Saturday, November 15th, Lake Trail Community Education Society is hosts 4th Annual Repair Café at Lake Trail Community School in Courtenay.

The free event, clothing swap & community garage sale will provide residents with the chance to get items repaired, free of charge by volunteer experts & to learn new skills in the process. You can also boost your wardrobe or sell items you no longer need. Over a dozen volunteers may repair clothing, textiles, sleeping bags, stuffed animals, wooden items, things that need gluing, plus small appliances & electronics. It’s from 11am to 3pm & free to attend, with the garage sale $20 per table. To learn more, to volunteer as a fixer, or to book a garage sale table, visit Lake Trail Community Education Society.
