Friday, September 30th, local Indigenous organizations are working together to host the 3rd Comox Valley Spirit Walk in downtown Courtenay as part of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
Wear orange to remember Indigenous children & families affected by Residential schools & take part in the walk. Opening ceremonies will begin at 11am at Simms Millennium Park, participants can drop in anytime from 11am-5pm to register, receive your map & walk the route downtown. It’s free to take part & everyone’s welcome. They need volunteers! To volunteer, visit Comox Valley Spirit Walk.
