This is the 3rd Annual Wounded Warrior Charity Hockey Game. Game is Friday December 5th at 6:00PM (Doors open at 5) Over $42,000 has been raised over the past 2 years from this game.
All money raised STAYS on Vancouver Island and goes toward critical programs for First Responders, Military, Veterans and their Families suffering from PTSD and other operational Stress Injuries
Programs are all put on by Wounded Warrior Canada and are free of charge for those who are suffering because of fundraisers such as this
-Our team this year is made up of Comox Valley RCMP, Courteney/Comox/Cumberland Fire Dept , BC Wildfire Service and CFB Comox (19 Wing).
-We also have the National Clinic Director for all of Wounded Warriors Canada Dr Tim Black on the team!
-This Event features of course a Hockey Game between local first responders and the Glacier Kings (with some fun on ice shenanigans), Several Mascots, Intermission Entertainment, Opening ceremonies, 50/50 , Duck Toss, Emergency Vehicles and much more!
There will also be a big silent auction in the arena and MANY great items! Some include BC Lions Tickets, Vancouver Whitecaps Tickets, Autographed Whitecaps Jersey from Comox Valleys very own Liam MacKenzie , Horse Riding Lessons, Wellness packages, Pacific Coastal Flights, Golf Pro Lessons, Brewery packages, Car audio system, and much much more! To many great items to list them all.
-This event is entirely volunteer driven, so every ticket sold and every dollar made goes directly to the cause!
-We encourage everyone to secure their tickets early and can be purchased as Happy Source For Sports, The Canex (by the base), or the Comox Valley RCMP Detachment. Tickets will also be available at the gate on game day while supply lasts.
