Pedestrians and cyclists are being asked to watch for crews working on various sections of the sidewalks along 17th Street in Courtenay today and tomorrow.

They’re working from 7am to 6pm both days.

Contractors are finishing up a few repairs to concrete sections in this corridor that are under warranty.

During repairs there will be localized closures of the sidewalk and bike lane adjacent to each work area.

Intermittent disruptions to vehicle traffic are also expected, with occasional single-lane alternating traffic.

The contractor will work directly with any residents whose driveway access may be temporarily impacted during this work.
