HEY RAVEN COUNTRY...
Not sure how everything will shake down, but it appears that every radio station in our market (and most across Canada) have had our Facebook pages blocked, due to posting news related articles.
As a licensed broadcaster with a credible news team, we take pride in our work.
However, with bill C-18 being passed, Canadian-based media organizations who post anything that looks remotely news-like are having their public pages removed without apparent recourse.
Thus, we have created a new Facebook page & will most certainly not post anything news related!! If you enjoy Raven news, you can hear it daily on-air, find it here on our website www.theraven.fm or on our Twitter page. If things change & our original page re-opens, we'll let you know!
We are not sure how this will shake out, but for now, we will reside on this page & continue to provide you with more great content on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding,
-Michael Pedersen - Station Manager (manager@theraven.fm)
