Campbell River is gearing up to celebrate the community’s hockey spirit, as the city & several community partners will host the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour, in the parking lot at the Maritime Heritage Centre property. Canada’s ultimate hockey festival is hitting the nation’s highways once again to celebrate passionate communities across the country & the cherished hockey memories, heroes & legacies that connect us. The free festival will feature hockey-themed activities, local vendors, live entertainment & more. The Hometown Hockey broadcast, hosted by Sportsnet’s Ron MacLean & Tara Slone, will take place Monday evening, live from the Maritime Heritage Centre as hockey fans will be able to take in the sights, sounds & spectacle of a national broadcast in their own backyard.
