Every dog must have its day after all, so Courtenay Recreation’s holding a dog swim with the 30-metre pool open for dogs of all sizes to splash, paddle & play. It’s from 11am-1pm, admission’s $5 per dog & all proceeds will benefit the local SPCA. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for each dog, so get those ready ahead of time. Dogs must also be friendly to attend. Sorry humans, only dogs will be allowed in the pool during the event. The staff from Van Isle Veterinary Clinic will be on site to help ensure the safety of all furry swimmers & Woofy’s Pet Foods will have giveaways.
