Sunday, June 23rd, Altrusa Campbell River is hosting a Garden Tour Fundraiser.
More Information (CKCC The Raven 100.7 is not responsible for external websites)
100% volunteers and host gardeners invite the community to tour eight beautiful gardens and support a great cause. There will also be door prizes, demonstrations, vendors, refreshments & more! Tickets are $25, with proceeds benefiting Altrusa of Campbell River. They are a charity made up of mostly women, who support more than thirty non-profits and organizations annually through fundraising and grants. They basically fill in the cracks where other funding sources cannot, focusing on kids and literacy but also many other humanitarian needs, such as hospital equipment and walkie talkies for search and rescue. They have quietly served Campbell River for 40 years. It's from 10am-4pm, to reserve your ticket, email gardentour24@gmail.com or phone 250-286-3422 or 250-287-7290.
