Friday May 31, the Taiwan acrobatic performing troupe visits Campbell River for the first time!

In calebration Asian Heritage Month in Canada, the Comox Valley Multicultural Society and Maple Pool Campsite will co-host and ascinating acrobatic show on 7pm to 9 pm at the Tidemark Theatre, Campbell River. The performing troupe - Formosa Circus Art (FOCA). As the first Taiwanese circus troupe to perform at prestigious international events such as the AVignon Festiaval in France and Edinburgh Festival Fringe in the UK, FOCA has become a pioneering force from Taiwan in the global community. As a dynanamic platform for a vatiety of performances, FOCA cultivate an unique physical vocabulary proudly showcasint the richness of Taiwanese creativity. With over 1,500 performances in more than 30 countries and numerous cities, FOCA serves as a cultural ambassodor, showcasing the vibrant tapestry of contemporaray Taiwanese circus art around the world.
