Saturday, September 14th, the Town of Comox & VI Paddling present the 2024 Comox Dragon Boat Festival in & around Comox Marina Park.

It will be an energy-filled day of races in the harbour, where paddlers from across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands & the Lower Mainland will compete in thrilling 200-metre races. Teams will represent a wide range of experience levels & ages. Among them is the newly formed Comox-based team, Wake Makers. The event will also feature youth teams, like the Dragon Riders, whose youngest members are 12 years old, as well as senior teams like Prevailing Wins, which includes paddlers in their 70s.
