Saturday, April 6th , the City of Campbell River presents a ‘Repair Café’, at the Willow Point Sportsplex in Campbell River.
The community is welcome to bring items like small appliances, household items, power tools, jewelry, clothing, eyeglasses & other items that need fixing. They’re also looking for volunteer fixers, who will receive a free lunch on the day. The event’s from 9:30am-1pm, it’s free to attend & everyone’s welcome. Keeping Our Word
The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.
It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
